Despite the fact that this work is already several decades old, listeners still remember it with warmth and love. It is difficult to find a person who would not know this great song: even the modern generation is well acquainted with this composition, because it is a real timeless classic. A touching melody and unusually beautiful lyrics immediately sink into the soul, and it is already impossible to forget them.

The history of the song dates back to 1974when Alexandra Pakhmutova and Nikolay Dobronravov visited this amazing corner of nature, which served as a source of inspiration. They were invited by the director of the famous park Kochanovsky. And the man who accompanied them during the tour turned out to be a surprisingly interesting storyteller. Thus, the composer and poet discovered the eighth wonder of the world. Kochanovsky asked the stellar duet of authors to write a beautiful work about this amazing natural place - it was his long-cherished dream. After an exciting walk Pakhmutova and Dobronravov could not refuse his request. A few days later, Nikolai Nikolayevich presented poems for a future hit to the public.

Soon the couple returned to the capital, and a few months later a melody was born, which is so familiar to all listeners. As a result, a harmonious, very gentle work was created, which over time became a kind of symbol and unofficial anthem of the whole Belarus.

The song was born in 1974, but was first performed only in 1976. She was the first to give her voice Bela Andreevna Rudenko along with the boys' choir.

Why did such a delightful work sit on the shelf for so long? In fact, the authors very carefully approached the choice of the performer and for a long time could not find someone who would fully meet their high requirements. But the situation was resolved 1977 year, when the couple began to cooperate with VIA "Pesnyary". Soon he joined the team Valery Dainekowho turned out to be the chosen one. For the first time he performed the song at the Novosibirsk Palace of Sports, and it was a triumph!

“Now your voice belongs to the people,” Vladimir Mulyavin told him after the speech.

No less interesting events took place during the recording of the hit. It was in the company's studio "Melody". Daineko faced a very difficult task - to perform the composition from beginning to end without a single mistake! In those days, recording in parts was technically impossible, which required special composure from the performer. In total, about ten takes were made for Belovezhskaya Pushcha. It is curious that Valery helped to finish the work Alla Borisovna Pugacheva!

“When Alla Pugacheva entered the control room, it made me get together and perform the song in a second breath,” the artist later admitted.

However, in the line "Where the grass is tall" Daineko's voice let him down for a moment. Nevertheless, Pakhmutova herself insisted on leaving this particular double. In her opinion, this gave the song naturalness. As a result, this version became a big hit and was included in the ensemble's album 1978 of the year.

The further fate of the work

After the success of "Pesnyarov", the legendary song entered the repertoire of the VIA "Syabry".

In 1983, performed by a children's choir, the composition graced the final scene from the film "Scarecrow".

The beginning of the 80s also presented the listeners with the Belarusian version performed by Danchika.

The success of the song did not pass even with the onset of the 2000s: in 2004 theater director Kirill Serebrennikov used the song in his production.

Cover versions have also been featured by bands such as "The Adventures of Electronics", "Black Rocks" and "Ocean Elzy"".
