Danny Brown reunites with fellow Run the Jewels for the collaborative track "3 Tearz", a JPEGMAFIA single released from Danny's uknowhatimsayin¿ album. The record was produced by Q-Tip (A Tribe Called Quest). It is thanks to Q-Tip that many underground hip-hop artists are now inextricably linked to the likes of jazz and soul. The production isn't as rich or layered as Q-Tip's on "Dirty Laundry," but it fits well with this single. It's certainly not a departure from JPEG noise rap, but it seems to have a special character for Danny Brown.The project features English multi-instrumentalist Paul White, electronic producer Flying Lotus, and many, many others....
The trio of rappers (Danny Brown, El-P and Killer Mike) take different approaches: the guys work hard and they're excellent at it. Let's watch the A-team in action.....
