Sergey Dragni (or simply Dragni) is a Russian performer and musician. Fame came to our hero after participating in such popular shows as "New Star" and "Songs" on TNT!
A unique style of performance and heartfelt compositions of his own composition are strong trump cards that attract such a huge number of people... At the moment the musician's Instagram has more than 90 thousand followers! And on his YouTube channel the number of subscribers has long passed the 200 000 mark....
Dragni also has his own special "highlight", which he almost never part with: a knitted cap! This peculiar headdress accompanies the performer at all his performances... It has long been the subject of jokes - and not only from fans, but also from the maestros of Russian show business!

Childhood, family...
Sergei Dragni was born in 1993 in the town of Raduzhny. Sergey has a brother and a sister Marianna. At the moment the Dragni family lives in Omsk. Sergey himself often visits this picturesque town: here the performer has many friends and favourite places where he likes to hang out in his free time from recording new music....
A curious fact: most of Dragni's songs are addressed specifically to childhood and home... The performer himself says:
"It has to do with nostalgia... I really miss the time when I was a kid and the home I'll never go back to..."
"I have a great family!" - Dragni continues. "And I'm grateful to her for my childhood..."

The beginning of the journey
Curiously enough, Draghni owes his career as a musician to his father. He bought a synthesiser, which he himself, although he could not master, gave to his son. At that time, Sergei was 12 years old, but he was surprisingly quick to master the keyboard instrument!
Sergey composed his first track at the age of 16, and it was called "Minus on Minus". And at the age of 19, the young man bought a guitar... Soon he entered the Academy of Arts in Samara, where he studied full-time for several years.
In 2013, the young author and performer became popular at the youth forums "iVolga" and "Seliger" (in the latter Sergey managed to win!) And now, Dragni's talent was noticed by Lina Arifulina - the producer of "Star Factory"! Soon Sergey was invited to the capital...
New heights and going into the army.....
Already in Moscow, Sergei Dragni got acquainted with the group "Idefix". Soon they began to co-operate...
In one of his interviews, the leader of the rap band - Sergey Glazunov ("Glaz") - talked about how he was fascinated by the phenomenon of Dragny:
"Sergey Dragni is a very bright, original personality. He is a worthy addition to our repertoire! There is something from "Boombox" in his way of performing... If we talk not only about work, he is a very sincere and kind person...".
In the end, Dragni became something of an inspiration for the band! And yes: he is the author of most of the songs of that period... And everything would have probably continued to go well! But in 2015 Sergey was forced to leave the band...
Draghni insulted the leader of "Idefix" with his unplanned departure to the army, and the latter accused the guy of a lot of debts and a sea of unfinished projects... As a result - all Draghni's parts were removed from the records of the band....
What is really pleasing is that Sergei did not waste any time! He continued to sing even in the army, as evidenced by the videos he published online: on them, Dragni performs heartfelt compositions, masterfully improvising with guitar accompaniment....
The New Star Show
The year 2017 was marked for our hero by his participation in the contest "New Star" (on the TV channel "Zvezda")! As part of the show, talented participants from 85 regions of Russia tried their hand at once... And despite the fact that Sergey himself had already been living in the capital for not the first year, he represented the Omsk region.
At the show Dragni performed not some famous hit songs, but simple and kind compositions of his own composition... The sincerity of the contestant melted the ice in the hearts of the jury... In the end, the guy managed to break through to the final, but... the victory went to another participant of the project.
As for Draghni, the jury members characterised his manner of performance as "peculiar" and the composition "War" performed at the very beginning of the show as "successful"!
"Songs" on TNT
For the first time Sergey Dragni got on the show "Songs" on TNT in 2018. At the casting, the jury members enjoyed an acoustic ballad called "Bonfire"... With his usual "humour", Sergei Svetlakov commented on Dragni's performance:
"Sergei, admit it, does that red riding hood live in you? If the answer is yes, there's a much better chance you'll get on our show!"
All the experts were delighted and fascinated by Sergey's performance... As a result - our hero got a chance to win 5 million roubles and sign a promising contract with such big music labels as "Black Star" or "MALFA"! But, unfortunately, the joy was short-lived... Sergey dropped out of the project at the selection stage! And this development shocked even his rivals....
However, Draghni himself, who is used to looking at the world in a positive way, was not very upset! Even without winning the competition, his creative activity was gaining momentum.....
Instead of being sad, Sergey founded a band of "simple Tambov guys"! Together they conquered the public by presenting their works in an unusual format... And the release of the experimental EP called "30 Hours", which was recorded in just over a day, caused an incredible resonance in the music industry!
And TNT again...?
In early 2019, TNT TV channel launched the second season of the musical show "Songs"! And who became one of the promising participants of the project? That's right! Sergei Dragni! The guy performed the composition "Snapshots"... By the way: both the text and the music to it Sergey wrote himself. Fans of the young performer know this song perfectly well by the unique clip released back in 2018! At the moment, the clip has been watched by more than 470 thousand users...
Among Sergey's most popular compositions are the tracks: "Grown up children", "From colours a mess", "Winter"...
Personal life
Sergey Dragni prefers not to disclose the details of his personal life. It is only known that the musician is a very amorous and romantic person:
"I can fall in love 40 times in one day! But it's not the same, these feelings pass quickly... I need the only one who can scald me properly! That's when I'll calm down..."
Sergey can boast of perfect understanding with animals! As the musician himself jokes, sometimes it seems to him that he understands what the four-legged furry animals are saying....
Dragni can't imagine his life without adventures and travelling! The singer is a supporter of an active lifestyle. He often gets into trouble, but as Sergey himself says:
"Without it, I wouldn't feel alive..."
