Edita Piekha was outraged by the Channel One series about Magomayev

The Channel One series offended the People's Artist of the USSR ... What really happened between Edita Piekha and Muslim Magomayev?

Offended Edita Piekha about relations with Magomayev ...

Not so long ago, the TV series Magomayev aired on Channel One. As it is not difficult to guess from the name, the sensational tape tells about the life and work of the great artist. And, sometimes, its main characters are not shown in the best light ...

So, after watching the series, People's Artist of the USSR Edita Piekha was horrified ... One of the episodes showed the audience a very interesting scene: Muslim Magometovich's passionate intimacy with singer Nora Karol! And everything would be fine if Edita Piekha was not the prototype of a loving diva ...

The indignation of the offended artist knew no bounds! Piekha immediately issued a statement. Here is what the 83-year-old woman told reporters:

“This is completely absurd! After all, Magomayev was not even my friend! It happened several times we crossed paths at work, but no more ... Then I was married to Bronevitsky, and I could not afford to play “shura-mura” with one of the men!

According to the artist herself, she and Muslim Magometovich had the opportunity to communicate only in Paris, in the Olympia concert hall, where they performed together! Subsequently, the scene brought them together several more times. However, - the woman said, - she did not manage to recognize Magomayev as a person ...

As for their joint performance in Paris, there were rumors that Edita's then husband, Alexander Bronevitsky, allegedly even broke into his wife's room in order to find Magomayev under the bed!

Edita Stanislavovna:

“To convict me of treason, San Sanych did not stop at nothing! I remember how he rushed to the Cannes Film Festival! Then Magomayev and I were sent together, which I decided not to tell Bronevitsky about ... He knew how much I admired Muslim: his voice, artistry, presentation ... And, of course, it hurt him a lot! But even though I didn’t tell him anything, they reported it for me! Just imagine: the very next day Sasha flew to Paris! He climbed into my room through the drainpipe (fortunately it was not high, the second floor), and literally turned it upside down! “Where is Magomayev?! Where did you hide it?! I know he's here!" He ran from the bathroom to the cabinets, looked behind the curtains and under the bed ... It was a real circus! How I was seething with anger then ... "

It is worth noting that Muslim Magometovich was credited with relations not only with Edita Piekha, but also with actresses Natalya Kustinskaya and Natalya Fateeva.

“I could “marry” Edita! But respect for Sasha was much higher ... It was clear that she was exclusively his creation ... ”the artist himself said.
