Edward Scissorhands

The film "Edward Scissorhands" tells the story of the cyborg man Edward (Johnny Depp), who was created by an elderly scientist. The experiment was practically successful, but the creator died without finishing his creation. As a result, Edward did not have hands, which he had to replace with scissors.

Edwardu lives in a castle that has no connection to the town nearby. One day, a woman selling cosmetics visited the castle. The sight of Edward made the woman's heart bleed. She decided to take the guy to her home, where he could experience the routine of life in a provincial California town.

The frightening scissors of an artificial person become a useful tool that allows you to cut people and animals, form unusual curly works from bushes, and work with ice. However, Edward fails to become a full-fledged resident of the town, because he is clearly not like everyone else. Among other things, Edward feels in love with the daughter of the lady who sheltered him. Kim (Winona Ryder), initially ignoring Edward due to her relationship, breaks up with her boyfriend and tries her luck because she, too, feels something for Edward. However, the abandoned guy does not give up, as does Edward.

The film "Edward Scissorhands" is rightfully worthy of everyone's attention. Unlock every secret of Tim Burton's story.

Corpse Bride

The story of the animated film "Corpse Bride" is based on the traditions of the intersection of parallel worlds. The action takes place in a provincial town of the XIX century. Young Victor, by chance, finds himself in the realm of the dead, where he is about to be married to the corpse of the bride. He feels dread, giving way to an understanding of the brightness and interestingness of the afterlife. The dull life and being on earth no longer seems like a bright world. However, reality is still the home of his girlfriend, his fiancée Victoria, whom Victor will never forget.

The idea of the cartoon is not famous for its complexity and abstruseness: true love is indestructible. Victor decides to return to his girlfriend in the world of the living, and the already deceased bride Emily is in no hurry to be offended: she knows what love is and what it feels like to be abandoned, which is why she lets the guy go to a living girl.

The cartoon "Corpse Bride" was filmed for 55 weeks. During filming, the dolls had to be constantly repaired and replaced. Therefore, at the suggestion of producer Allison Abbate, the team ordered a lot of toys in advance so as not to waste time - by the end of filming, it turned out 14 Emily dolls, 14 Victor dolls and 13 Victoria dolls. The design of most of them was developed by Tim Burton himself. The process takes a lot of effort, and 22 animators managed to work through only six seconds of the picture per week. This is not strange, because just in order for the doll to blink, you need to shoot about 22 frames! It is also interesting that all the acting work for voicing Corpse Bride was carried out before filming began.

sleepy hollow

The history of the film dates back to the end of the 18th century. Sleepy Hollow is a forgotten corner where terrible crimes were once committed. Residents spread stories about decapitated corpses, and the constable Ichabod Crane (Johnny Depp), who was sent by his superiors from New York, you have to start investigating. Crane is intelligent, filled with a desire to find the truth. He also seeks to use new scientific methods of solving crimes on his own - the constable independently prepares a set of original tools that allow him to investigate and conduct an examination, after which he applies a scientific approach to explain any phenomenon.

The people of Sleepy Hollow share a local legend with Crane. About twenty years ago, during the War of Independence, a Hessian cavalryman (Christopher Walken) began to destroy anyone who prevented him from moving forward. He was caught in Sleepy Hollow and executed by lynching. After that, the nearby territories learned what peace is. However, some time ago, a series of terrible murders thundered again, and the inhabitants of the town say that they saw a headless horseman.

The pragmatic Crane did not take seriously the version of the killer, who miraculously came to life, but he immediately noticed the strangeness of the case. A series of subsequent events makes the constable look at everything from an angle unusual for him - inexplicable.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Charlie Beckett (Fredy Highmore) is a small guy from a very poor family: a boy lives in a tiny shack, his parents, two grandmothers and two grandfathers. One day, the father loses his job, which makes the situation of the family even more difficult. The boy's grandfather tells the story of how he was once a worker in a chocolate factory Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp), however, Wonka got rid of every factory worker when he found out about the theft of his secrets by competitors. From now on, not a single soul saw people visit the factory, although sweet delicacies regularly replenished the counter.

Once Willy Wonka announced: five children who find a golden ticket in a chocolate bar will be able to visit factory and only one will get a special prize. Charlie becomes one of those lucky enough to get the golden ticket.

The remaining four tickets were received by completely different guys from different parts of the world. Among them: a chubby guy who eats nothing but chocolate, a spoiled daughter of a rich dad, a girl who chews gum and a gamer guy who managed to hack the system and figure out which tile will be with golden ticket. The next day, the children and one accompanying relative for each become visitors to the factory, where they get to know a lot of strange, unseen and amazing things.

The story follows five different children exploring a factory. To understand the main idea of the film "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the picture.
