New Gorillaz song - Desole (Désolé)
The band Gorillaz are back with another new single "Désolé". This is a collaboration with Malian singer Fatoumata Diawara.
"Creating Désolé with Fatou was a real experiment for me," Russell, the Gorillaz drummer, said in an interview. "She's an African queen. This lady made the song what it is, beautiful as life. What can I say about 'Désolé'? They have a saying: 'Sorry is the hardest word.' But that's not true ... Try saying 'anti-disestablishmentarianism' with a mouthful of croissant biscuits on a speedboat without licking your lips."
The new song follows Gorillaz's latest single "Momentary Bliss," featuring slowthai and Slaves. The video can be seen just below:
