The band INXS have released the music video for their iconic hit "Never Tear Us Apart": Video, Photos, Facts
The track appears in a new music video, the filming of which, took participation artists Joey King and Kyle Allen. The video is already airing on Paramount + in the US.
The new video features a special edit of the song "Never Tear Us Apart", featuring footage of the unforgettable speeches of the Australian band at Wembley Stadium in 1991. In between shots of the band's live performance, scenes from the film are interspersed to illustrate the power of unbreakable love.
I was standing/You were there, - sings Michael Hutchence in a performance video - Two worlds collided/And they could never keep us apart.
"The In Between" - is a film featuring a 1987 track that appeared on HBO's Euphoria earlier this year. "Never Tear Us Apart" was one of several INXS songs that sounded in the second and third episodes of the second season, with the band's music used to combine scenes of flashbacks to Cal Jacobs' (played by Eric Danes) youth and the character's modern-day self-discovery.
"Mystify," "Never Tear Us Apart," "Devil Inside," "New Sensation," and "Need You Tonight." - all of these pieces were recently included in the soundtrack for the show "Euphoria". With INXS' music being used mainly on the show, the band's popularity has increased as it attracts new and more young audience. Also, fans use the band's songs in their videos on apps such as TikTok.
Euphoria Music Director Jen Malone recently told OkayPlayer about how she selects soundtracks for the show:
We want the element of discovery, of course, and we want our audience to maybe listen to music they've never listened to before, but we make the best show by telling the story of Sam [Levinson, creator of Euphoria], - she explained.
