World bands whose members don't like each other

Some bands managed to keep their relationship alive, while others never played a single note after breaking up. But absolutely every band on our list somehow managed to make great music while hating each other!

Let's talk about legendary bands whose members can't really stand each other

The history of music knows many legendary rock bandswho have become icons, idols of millions. But what is it about them that makes their participants hate each other?

In fact, being together year after year is very tiring: you are touring together, performing, recording in the studio. Also, it is quite possible that over time people's relationships deteriorate as money changes them (people). Yes, unfortunately this is also quite common. Be that as it may, and some of the most popular rock bands in the world absolutely loathe each other - and for many of them, this animosity fuels their music! It's common knowledge that the legendary band. "Fleetwood Mac." had their moments of love and hate, didn't they? And yet they released a mega-successful album. Rumours - more 40 million copies all over the world.

Some bands managed to keep their relationship alive, while others never played a single note after breaking up. But absolutely every band on our list somehow managed to make great music while hating each other!

The Beatles

Despite the fact that people accuse Yoko Ono in the breakup of the band, it's hardly her fault. As ridiculous as it may sound, in their worst period, the band members "The Beatles." had one of their best results ever - "The White Album."! During the recording of the record, the musicians constantly exchanged unpleasant barbs. Starr left the line-up for a short time after being teased by other band members, and Yoko Ono's appearance in the studio was not liked by anyone other than Lennon.

The band was in a bad mood during rehearsals for what would later become a "Let It Be." и "Abbey Road.". McCartney encouraged the other members to write as much as possible. The producer George Martin reminisced:

"Paul would be too arrogant, which the other guys didn't like. But it was the only way we could get together."

George Harrison really left the band during these sessions. He returned shortly afterwards, but the band was unable to continue and broke up completely before their last two albums were released.

Fleetwood Mac

Of all the groups that hate each other, Fleetwood Mac - the only one who managed to turn her dislike into a good monetary gain! During the recording of the album. "Rumours." between participants (Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Christine McVie and Mick Fleetwood) there was a real "Santa Barbara" going on! However, the four managed to pull themselves together and write hit after hit.

As a result, the album has sold 40 million copies worldwide - one of the highest numbers in the history of recording.

The Eagles

The Eagles - the best Southern California rock band ever! But for every one of their hits, there is a portion of discontent or controversy.

Tensions came to a head in 1980 at a concert in Long Beach, California, when guitarist Don Felderwho stayed in the group the longest, said. Glenn Fry "Three more songs and I'll kill you, mate." After that the band ceased to exist.

The Beach Boys

"Beach Boys." may look like the gentlest and friendliest musical group in history. However, no matter how mesmerising their vocal melodies are, a family band is always shown to fall apart. The rivalry at the centre of the band was between Brian Wilson and Mike Love.. And if Wilson was the soul of the collective, Love was the perpetual motion machine, keeping the band motivated and never letting its members slow down.

After Wilson's first memoir, Love sued him for defamation, but his lawsuits against Wilson didn't end there. It's also worth noting that Love has a strong grudge against Dennis Wilsonwho not only slept with his then-wife. Susana.but also got his 17-year-old daughter pregnant. Shawn Marie.

Van Halen

Conflicts in Van Halen flared up from the very beginning of their careers with by David Lee Roth. The singer felt that the band's performances should be exciting and image-based, while the other members were less happy with the vocalist's flamboyant sensibilities. Roth's desire for an exciting image led to a photo shoot that was the beginning of the end of this version of the band. Prior to the album's release. "Women and Children First." in 1980, Roth hired photographer Helmut Newton to take his picture for the cover - without the rest of the cast.

Needless to say, the group was outraged?

The Police

The Police may seem like a laid-back new wave band, but while they played together during the of the 1970s and 1980s years, they were not at all relaxed. The band was more interested in jazz and classical than pop post-punk. The Police brought a mercurial style to the English punk scene, which they soon left behind.

Although they had a series of hit singles that are still mainstays on oldies radio stations, the band was almost always in some kind of tension. Sting and the drummer Stuart Copeland once had a fight so bad that Sting had a broken rib! There's also a story about Sting shouting at guitarist Andy Summers so much that everyone in the room went white.

Guns N' Roses

This may surprise you, but Guns N 'Roses really didn't get along with each other. In addition to substance use, there were two very strong personalities in the group, which could already be a sure beginning of the end. The conflicts between Slash and Exl Rose happened quite often. However, according to their former manager, the turning point was Slash's work with the Michael Jackson.

Doug Goldstein recounted how Slash's performance at the pop king's concert drove Rose to extremes:

"I asked Slash, "How much are you getting for it?" and he said: "I'll just get a big screen TV!" When Exl found out that Slash would be playing with Michael Jackson for the 'big screen TV', he was devastated... And then he was out of his mind!"

Ramones

Ramones
Ramones

RamonesThey may have imagined themselves as a united front in leather jackets, but in reality they were far apart. Backstage, the four band members couldn't stand each other. While Joey Ramon wanted to sing pop songs at breakneck speed, their guitarist Johnny was mainly concerned with the business of the group, and they hardly spoke to each other for most of the project's existence.

The big trouble started when Johnny got into a violent relationship. The band manager Danny Fields he told me:

"He could punch Dee Dee in the face with his fist. It was always after the show, something like, 'You did B major, whereas you should have played C minor.' I was standing outside the dressing room. You could hear the glass breaking..."

But Johnny went over the top when the band recorded the album "End of the Century". Joey brought his girlfriend to California with the band, and that was his biggest mistake. In just a few months. Johnny Ramone convinced her to leave the singer and stay with him. A few years later they married, and Joey never forgave Johnny.

At the heart of the dispute between the parties Kiss is that only two of the participants Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley - thought they were really committed to the cause. They saw Fraley and Criss as the "weak link".

However, one of the biggest obstacles between the two sides of the band was that Fraley and Criss liked to party, while the other two members did not.

"Life doesn't give you three chances. You only get one chance. But Ace and Peter got three chances each! They didn't carry their load. You can't drive a car with two flat tyres. You're responsible for changing the damn tyres so the whole car doesn't stop! It's nothing personal," Gene Simmons once declared.
