Halsey's new song "3am" contained a hidden message. Halsey recently posted on her social media account that the voicemail message sampled in her new single "3am" is actually from her good friend John Mayer.
The star didn't reveal the secret of the faith-soaked and hopeful voice message snippet at the end of the song. Some fans wondered if it was her dad. However, Halsey only revealed the secret on Friday, the release date of her third studio album 'Manic'.
"This is @JohnMayer! Haha," she tweeted, explaining that he left a nice message, even before she rose to fame in 2018 with her number one hit "Without Me.
