Содержание
Yarden Kleiman was born in 1993 in Jerusalem. Today the girl is known as a virtuoso saxophonist! With her playing she breaks stereotypes that saxophone playing is exclusively jazz. Yarden charms with her energy and charisma. The intensity of emotions at her live performances can be the envy of famous rock stars!
A little from the bio...
As mentioned above, Yarden Kleiman was born in the capital of Israel, beautiful and sunny Jerusalem. She learnt to play the saxophone in New Zealand and Australia, where she lived for almost four years. She later returned to her homeland, enrolling in the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
Kleiman's work is based on Israeli folk music.
Today she lives in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, and periodically gives saxophone lessons to students. She plays and improvises brilliantly live to electric beats! Clayman has a track record of successful tours through Italy, Turkey, Greece, Germany and Azerbaijan.
A new format during a pandemic
At the end of March, due to the coronavirus outbreaks, many countries around the world went into quarantine mode... However, for a real musician, self-isolation is not a ban on live performances at all! So, Kleiman arranged a beautiful concert... on the roof! The girl played gorgeous music - not without the help of her colleagues! The performance turned out to be encouraging and light... Thus Kleiman wanted to support people who are forced to stay locked up at home. By the way: the audience gathered on the balconies of the neighbouring houses were delighted!
In her interview with the BBC, Yarden shared:
"...We want to give people joy even in this difficult time for the world...We want them to feel a little happier in this difficult time. Everything that is happening in the world is heartbreaking... But no matter what, it's important for everyone to stay at home right now."
"...And if you are sad, we will help you to dispel your sadness! We are ready to perform especially for those who have to stay at home because of the quarantine. We also do not violate the introduced security measures, avoid any contact with people... We don't want to put others in danger, we don't want them to go out on the street. That's why we decided that a rooftop concert is just perfect! That way, everyone can listen to music from the comfort of their own home, sitting or dancing on their balcony. And we are grateful to the police for helping us to do that!"
