2022 Keshi's Lyric Single - "Touch" Official Video
In the music video for the single touch singer-songwriter Keshi spends the day in Malibu, finding inspiration in moments of intimacy. Alternative pop song to appear on his upcoming debut album Gabriel, due out in 2022 on the label Island Records.
In the single "Touch", Keshi explores the complexity of communication as he tries to sort out mixed feelings during a complicated romantic relationship:
"If you want me, say you want me / Treading softly, on my body while you tell me / That you're taking it slow, but you're pulling me close / If I bow to the throne, is it better than us ?
Which translated:
"If you want me, say you want me / Stepping softly on my body as you tell me / That you take it slow but you pull me closer / If I bow to the throne, is that better than us?"
Music video directed by Sebastian Sdaigi effectively captures subtle moments of suspense in a relationship filled with tension in backseats, abandoned bedrooms and elevated city views.
"Touch" will be the second single to be shared by Gabriel after last year's lead single "Somebody". It was co-produced with the album's executive producer Eli Rizkom, who also helmed the final single. Keshi first introduced touch live audience during the tour with LANY.
Keshi said in an interview BandwagonAsia in 2021:
“As I grew as a musician, more and more I lost sight of the meaning of music to me. It's about creating a sound that's nice to listen to - not everything has to be in this dark, brooding atmosphere. I'm something more than this genre and that's what I'm trying to prove with this mixtape."
The musician added:
“I have a very diverse range that I just didn’t put on public display because I felt that the fans really like this type of music, but with the new album, I really want to create the music that I want to make at the moment and I am very I'm glad everyone can hear it."
