In contrast to the Leningrad Rock Club, formed in the early 80's and managed to fall in love with millions of Soviet people, the capital's rock club, the Leningrad Rock Club, which was formed in the early 80's and managed to make millions of Soviet people fall in love with itself. rock lab was launched only in the second half of that decade. This was done by order of the first secretary of the Moscow City Committee of the CPSU Victor Grishin and meant that musicians who joined a community organisation would be looked after.

The functionality of the of the Moscow Rock Lab was similar and comparable to what other rock clubs were doing. Thanks to this organisation, many amateur Moscow and Moscow suburbs bands received official status. Membership in the rock laboratory gave musicians the opportunity to "legalise" your art and catch a wave of popularity.

One of the bands accepted into the Moscow Rock Lab was a collective with an unusual name "Mongol Shuudan.". It was formed in 1989 in Moscow on the initiative of Valery Skoroded. During the early perestroika years, this unknown Muscovite wandered around amateur bands with obscene names and performed in various Moscow clubs. At some point, he realised that he wanted to broadcast his ideas to the masses, so he put together his own band.

The name of the collective also arouses interest in "MSH". In fact, the history of its creation is a matter of chance. In translation from Mongolian, "Mongol Shuudan" means "Mongolian Post.

Valery Skoroded about the band's name: "The story is quite simple! We were standing at a bus stop, and next to it we saw a printing kiosk. There were beautiful stamps in it. They were called "Mongolian Post".

The birth date of MSH is the date of the band's first concert, ironically coinciding with Laughter Day. After the high-profile performance Skoroded and his team started recording a whole album.
