White also wrote "Steamy Windows" and "Undercover Agent for the Blues," which were hits in 1989 performed by Tina Turner.

His most recent album, Bad Mouthin, was released in September 2018. The album features six original White songs and five blues standards written by such famous musicians as Charlie Patton and John Lee Hooker. Below is a song from the album, a cover of the classic Hooker hit, saved the original boogie, but replacing Joe Lee's emotionality with White's recognizable swamp vocals.

3. Jeff Beck: Live at the Hollywood Bowl

He focused on instrumental music and innovative sound, releasing two hit solo albums, Blow by Blow in March 1975 and Wired in 1976.

Beck played on many albums by other famous artists, including Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger, Tina Turner, Donovan, Diana Ross, Jon Bon Jovi, Stevie Wonder, Cyndi Lauper, ZZ Top and even Toots and the Maytals. He also continued to release solo albums, albeit with limited commercial success.

Rolling Stone magazine put it fifth number on the list of "The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" and called him "one of the most influential solo guitarists in rock.

Jeff has released a CD/DVD, Live at the Hollywood Bowl. This is a recording of a concert in 2016 celebrating Beck's 50th anniversary in the music business.

4. Savoy Brown: Witchy Feelin

Savoy Brown originally were called the Savoy Brown Blues Band. The classic lineup was most successful in the U.S., where they promoted their albums and toured extensively. One of the most famous albums of that period is Lookin' In. 1970.

Savoy Brown was one of the first British bands to focus on black music; the band began with almost classic Chicago blues and released more than 30 albums during their long career.

John Mayall is a British blues singer, guitarist, keyboardist, and songwriter whose musical career spans over sixty years. In the 1960s he put together the band John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers. Many remember him best for his harmonica in the song "Room to Move," but of course he did many times that.

In his band played people whose names are now prescribed in italics in the Blues Book are Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Jack Bruce, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood, Walter Trout, and Coco Montoya.

On his latest album, Talk About That, Mayall is joined by Joe Walsh, whose magnificent guitar work presented by on two tracks, "The Devil Must Be Laughing" and "Cards On The Table," written by Mayall.

Mick Fleetwood, co-founder of Fleetwood Mac, continues his blues legacy with The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band, in which another Mac member, Rick Vito, also plays.

On Live at the Belly Up, Mick's current gang performs a number of tracks from the original Fleetwood Mac, the blues band that started it all in 1967, even before Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks came along.

These ladies were gorgeous, but they changed the band to something else. It's interesting now to hear anew what started it all.

7. Van Morrison: The Prophet Speaks

8. Billy Gibbons: The Big Bad Blues

Billy Gibbons is best known as guitarist and vocalist of the American blues-rock band ZZ Top. Gibbons founded ZZ Top in late 1969, and in 1971 they released the very aptly named ZZ Top's First Album.

Gibbons played with many other musicians and starred in the TV show Bones. Rolling Stone magazine ranked him 32nd on the list 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time in 2011.

Billy's new album The Big Bad Blues born out of his love of the blues and rock 'n' roll. Here you can hear many of his signature blues vocal and guitar phrases, which have been the basis of his many hits over the past fifty years.

There are 11 tracks on the album, including several classics coverssuch as "Rollin' Tumblin'" and "Standing Around Crying," as well as new blues originals from Billy.

9. Rita Coolidge: Safe in the Arms of Time

After ten year old break Rita Coolidge is back. She released her 18th album, Safe In The Arms Of Time. Rita Coolidge played a prominent role in the history of the Los Angeles music scene of the '70s.

She sang backup on Stephen Stills' "Love the One You're With," and on Eric Clapton's "After Midnight. She also composed by a piano outro for the superhit "Layla" by then-Clapton's Derek & the Dominoes (though some attribute this iconic tune to her ex-boyfriend Jim Gordon).

On this new album she took active participation in the co-writing of some of the songs. Rita also used compositional talents Keb Moe, Stan Lynch, Jill Colucci, Chris Stapleton and Graham Nash. She sings a duet with Keb Moe on the album. Coolidge says:

"This is the best record I've ever made. I'm very proud of it."
