1. Noel had to apologize for his remark towards Blur
When Oasis were at the peak of their popularity, their rivals were Blur, another very popular rock band based in the UK in the 90s. Then, apparently in a fit of anger, Noel Gallagher said in an interview: "... I hope that the Blur members get AIDS and die ..."
Of course, such a statement caused a whole storm of indignation in the media! Soon Noel had to write an official letter of apology, which, subsequently, hit the pages of a dozen publications.
2. In one of the tracks Oasis played ... Johnny Depp himself
The fact that in his youth Johnny Depp wanted to become a rock star, not an actor, many of you probably know ... But did you know that the "famous pirate" played in one of the Oasis tracks?
Yes, Johnny Depp plays slide guitar on "Fade In-Out", a track from the 1997 album Be Here Now. By the way: the Gallagher brothers met the actor at one of the parties held at Mick Jagger's villa!

Oasis have broken the record for the most in-demand concert in UK history! Approximately 2,500,000 people applied for tickets for their two concerts at Knebworth House!
4. Some of the band's vinyl records have become bestsellers.
Despite the fact that, compared to The Beatles and Queen, Oasis are considered to be quite a young band, some of their releases cost a lot of money…
So, for example, you can buy their live release Familiar To Millions (2000) for around £300!
5. Many popular bands have admitted that Oasis are their idols.
