Koreans listen to Viktor Tsoi's songs
Foreigners listen to our Russian music more and more often, ranging from hip-hop to rock! Of course, we cannot know the full picture of what is happening (how often they refer to our culture), however, our people are everywhere! Thanks to Russian bloggers abroad, more and more people learn about our culture! Recently, we have already talked about Thailand, Germany, Italy and America: people listened to Russian songs with pleasure, both high-quality and not very good ... But for us, who know the Russian language, they seem like that, but for people who do not know the meaning of words, songs look quite attractive... And what about Russian rock?
There is an interesting detail here: in Russian rock, the meaning of words is very important, very often the emphasis is on the words, and not on the arrangement. That is why many find fault with Russian rock, saying that it does not exist at all. After all, rock is music, and music is a guitar melody and rhythm. Vocals are a separate component! And here the eternal dispute usually arises: to be Russian rock or not to be? After all, our rock (like our entire culture) is famous for the depth of thought that touches the soul, and not for a one-day chorus under a scorching guitar riff, as happens abroad. Why all this?
Koreans listen to Viktor Tsoi's songs
Viktor Tsoi is one of the few Russian musicians who have managed to win the trust of a foreign audience. They not only fall in love with his songs from the first time, but also recommend them to friends: people, having heard Tsoi's voice and the excellent arrangement in his compositions, often put it on their friends! The songs advertise themselves and sell like hot cakes on word of mouth! Only Vladimir Vysotsky could boast of such achievements!
Choi and Korea
In fact, Viktor Tsoi is considered their boyfriend in Korea! And this is no accident: Victor's father, Robert Maksimovich Tsoi, is an engineer of Korean origin. Tsoi's songs are not only close in spirit to the Koreans, but they are in fact in their blood! In their "blood type"!
So... Today we will look at the reaction of the guys from the Korean group "Haze Moon Band" to Viktor Tsoi's song - Blood Type. And at the end, the guys will play and sing the songs "Wicked game" by Chris Isaac. This will be a nice bonus!
