The film "Game" (2020) is rich in soundtracks and cool compositions. It's a groovy horror comedy and body swap slasher starring Kathryn Newton and Vince Vaughn. In the story, teenager Millie (Kathryn Newton) is just trying to survive in the bloodthirsty halls of Blissfield High and the cruelty of the popular public. But when she becomes the new target of The Butcher (Vince Vaughn), her town's notorious serial killer, her senior year becomes the least of her worries.

The ingenious premise of "Game" / "Freaky" (2020) is so simple that it's almost shocking that no one has come up with it yet. Once upon a time, body-swap comedies were par for the course, but Hollywood never thought to pair them with another common subgenre: slasher films. Even the original title of the film - "Freaky Friday the 13th" / "Freaky Friday the 13th" - seems so obvious that it almost infuriates! But it's all worth it!

Kathryn Newton plays Millie, a high school student who unexpectedly switches bodies with middle-aged serial killer Blissfield the Butcher, played by Vince Vaughn. That's all. Add a ticking clock element when it needs to switch back within 24 hours or it will stay that way forever and you're done. This hot dish with humor and gore doesn't need too much sauce. Directed and co-written by Christopher Landon, Freaky is the perfect companion for his other film, Happy Death Day. Teaming up again with producer Jason Blum and Blumhouse Productions, they work their magic once again, playing with tropes while maintaining a freshness and uniqueness that never seem derivative.
