British musician, singer and songwriter SG Lewis has released his first single "Chemicals" after collaborating with Dua Lipa on her new album Future Nostalgia, which received positive reviews from critics. "Chemicals" is a jam flavoured summer cocktail that you drink while sitting by the pool. The synthesiser line is led by Chad Hugo of NERD in black glasses.

"'Chemicals' is about the conviction to try something new with someone you are inspired by, with emotions that anticipate it," Lewis said in a press release. "It's about feeling driven (helpless), knowing that this person is controlling you, yet deep down you love it. The song is about one particular evening I spent in London some time ago. I started the song late one night in LA with Julian Banetta. Then the next day Steph Jones helped us compose the lyrics. Finally, Julian and I worked with Chad (Hugo, NERD / The Neptunes) the following week and we got him to play the synth line you hear."
