Viktor Reznikov was one of the first Soviet composers who began to record music using electronic instruments. Despite the fact that Reznikov had not musical training, he was good at composing amazing melodies, because he had a special sense of music.

My own first Victor wrote this masterpiece while studying at the Pedagogical University, where he entered after graduating from school and trying his hand at the profession of an engineer. The composition "Tramp April" gave the young man the impetus to start his career composer.

By the end of the 70's Reznikov had already presented his composition "Fly away, cloud."Victor's songs are known for being performed by Alla Pugacheva. At that time Victor was almost all over the Union, but many of his songs still remained outstanding. The young composer tried to remedy the situation, and in 1979 he proposed to the singer and actor Mikhail Boyarsky to perform a couple of compositions. For some time, the musician refused to cooperate, but the young man's pressure persuaded Boyarsky to listen to the songs. The same evening, the Soviet "d'Artagnan" agreed to perform his music.

During their hard work, Victor and Mikhail became friends; a few years later, Reznikov became a distinguished composer and began writing music for the presenters Larisa Dolina, Lyudmila Senchina, Valery Leontiev and others. In 1991, the legendary composition that has become a cult for the whole generation was born. "Thank you, love.".

Reznikov originally performed the song himself, and insisted that it remain in the pristine in sound. He dedicated it to his wife, expressing all the warm feelings he had for many years of marriage, but no one has ever heard the composition in the author's reading. The track was most popular when performed by Mikhail Boyarskywho recorded his version of the composition immediately after Reznikov's tragic death.

In many interviews, Boyarsky mentions that he's still heavily to remember the loss of his friend. Despite the heartache, the actor confesses that he is happy to be the executor of Victor's last will, who, before his death, wished that his creativity has not been forgotten. The composer and singer on the eve of the accident that took Reznikov's life agreed to perform "Thank you, dear" together with his sons, but it never happened. Now Boyarsky loves this song, which reminds him of his friend and excellent composer, lapsed to fully realise your talent.

Reznik's and Boyarsky's versions differ not only executionbut also the lyrics. In the original version there were only two verses, but Boyarsky considered the song to be overly short. Then the singer started to correct the composition.

Soviet songwriter Alexei Rimitzianwho wrote the lyrics to many pop hits, added a third and final verse to the song, as well as corrected the opening line of the song, changing the lyric line. sensethe author had laid down. Now "The shadow of young love hides the memory in us" has turned into "Sweet sleep has extinguished the flame of tender eyes", making the composition not just soulful ballad to his beloved, but lullabyreverently performed by Boyarsky.

To the song was even filmed a video, which shows not only Victor himself, but also his relatives, to whom the composition is dedicated. Only even devoted listeners first learnt about this performance many years later after of the composer's death.

Shock from the loss of a comrade did not pass at Mikhail Boyarsky for a long time, so almost two years the musician did not record and did not release songs, however, "Thank you, native" became exceptions. The singer has successfully realised his friend's wish for the eternal memory of him by his listeners, despite the obscurity of Reznikoff's own rendition.
