Travis Bott - JACK PARK CANNY DOPE MAN (2020)
Digital agency space150 has created an analogue to musician Travis Scott's Travisbott - a machine that created and published a new song, "Jack Park Canny Dope Man," created with artificial intelligence.
The fully AI generated song contains lyrics and melodies modelled after Scott's music. While the lyrics make absolutely no sense, the auto-tuned melodies and backing instrumentals bear an uncanny resemblance to the rapper's original stylish sound.
The song was achieved by loading Scott's entire discography into a text generator model over a two-week period. In turn, the model was able to recognise and mimic patterns of movement, rhythm and recitation that were native and original to his music.
