"Us Someday" single - Thomas Rhett: Photos, official music video
Thomas Rhett continues present songs from their upcoming sixth studio album "Where We Started", due for release on 1 April. The highlight of the record will be "Us Someday".
The song opens with a sparkling string arrangement on top of which, one hears a clear vocal musician. The 18-time chart-topping artist continues to enlist Thomas Rhett, Rhett Akins, Jesse Fraser and Amy Wadge to help him release new tracks. "Us Someday" joins previously released tracks "Church Boots," current Top 20 chart-topper "Slow Down Summer" and the fast-rising in the single "Angels."
To me, this song is like a plea to 19-year-old Lauren, telling her, "I know you think this is crazy, but I believe all these things are going to happen to us." And here we are, over 10 years later, and most of those things did happen, - Thomas Rhett said. "I also like how this song is different from the rest of the songs, it starts with just strings and vocals. I hope people will listen and be able to make their own relationships."
Last month, Rhett went public. details of his "Bring The Bar To You" tour, which he will headline. Produced by Live Nation and presented by Dos Primos, the tour kicks off on 17 June in Guilford, NY and will visit over 30 cities across the US.
The tour is attended by specialised guests Parker McCollum and Conner Smith.
Man, I'm excited to share the news about this tour, - Thomas Rhett said. "I'm so stoked to play the new songs. I feel like this is going to be the best gig of my life - I'm already counting down the days!"
