On 1 March 1969, The Doors frontman Jim Morrison was arrested in Miami right on stage. The concert lasted about an hour. At the end Jim started to behave indecently, for example, he took out his "device" and showed it to the audience. Someone called the police and they arrested the musician right on the stage.
Law enforcement authorities charged Morrison with lewd and lascivious behaviour and public drunkenness. He was convicted and sentenced to prison, but -- while the case was pending -- he died.....
Did Morrison really strip completely naked and expose himself to the public? His friend and bandmate Ray Manzarek claims that Jim simply took off his shirt and waved it in front of his "crotch", taunting the audience.
In 2010, the governor of Florida decided it would be best to let Morrison go...posthumously. He dismissed the case. That's how Morrison got a posthumous pardon....
