Drive-In Car Concert in Denmark (2020)

"...People behaved in the most appropriate way. The concert left everyone with only positive emotions! This is something we all miss very much now...".

A concert for motorists "Drive-In"

There are no barriers to true art! So, while all over the world celebrity concerts are cancelled and rescheduled for new dates, an unusual Drive-In show took place in Denmark!

The concert was organised by Danish musician Mads Langer, a songwriter and performer! His cover of the song "I'm Not Alone" by the British band Olive brought him worldwide success.

Danish musician Mads Langer: "This is the first time I've ever had a concert like this!"

Langer has an amazingly delicate and nuanced voice, but at the same time - powerful enough to captivate tens of thousands of listeners at his live concerts... In his native Denmark, Mads has become a multi-platinum and multi-awarded artist. Fans adore him for his warmth and heartfelt sincerity... Today the musician is working on his seventh album!

But - back to the concert!

500 spectators travelled to the suburbs of Aarhus - the second largest city in the country - to enjoy the spectacle! Everyone was in their own cars.

The concert was announced just a week in advance... However, to the great surprise of the organisers of the show, all tickets were sold out on the very first day!

People were able to enjoy the sound without getting out of their cars, via radio broadcast! Moreover, everyone was able to chat with the musician himself via the Zoom app.

After the concert, Mads Langer shared his feelings:

"I've had enough concerts in my life, but this is the first time!"

It was noted that the music event did not cause any problems and all cars had dispersed in just half an hour. Local police officers commented on the situation as follows:

"Everything was under control. People behaved in the most appropriate way. The concert left everyone with only positive emotions! This is something we all miss very much now..."
