Some people call the Pesnyars by the Soviet Beatles for a reason: in an attempt to attract the attention of young people, the ensemble played hits of popular foreign bands for a while, including the iconic Liverpool Four! But it turned out not to be something that could be successfully worked with on a permanent basis. It was only Soviet song classics that helped Mulyavin's team to make a big name for yourself!

By the mid-1970s, the Pesnyars had already become idols millions! The band was such a crazy success that they even toured across Americawhich was a curiosity for of the Soviet ensemble! However, after the dizzying rise, the inexorable fall began.....

From the earliest days of the ensemble's existence. Vladimir Mulyavin was his main ideological inspiration! You could say he was a solid foundationthat held the whole team together! But at some point, cracks spread along the foundation.... Personal life Mulyavin's life was more than eventful: the musician was married three times and became a father four times! But his first two marriages were doomed.

Only with his third wife, Svetlaya PenkinaMulyavin found happiness. Or was it freedom? When they got engaged, Penkina left her film career for her husband. Soon Vladimir became addicted to alcohol, while his wife at the same time led the ensemble! Svetlana decided who and how much to pay, where and how much the Pesnyars would perform, and even who would take what place on the stage! In general, while her husband was acquiring serious dependenceshe took over the reins...

"When we admonished Vladimir that you can't write music while drunk, Svetlana boldly replied: "Let him drink, he's better at it!" And he listened to her, not to us. He was drinking, and the audience at the concerts was getting smaller and smaller... The country was falling apart piece by piece, and he didn't realise it - he was no longer able to...".

By the end of 1997, the members of the ensemble had decided change leader. They appealed to the Minister of Culture of Belarus, and soon their new leader became Vladimir Misevich. But Mulyavin was not going to give his business to someone else so easily: he appealed to the president personally Belarusand soon he was reinstated! But this did not bear the expected fruit, because after learning about it - most of the staff wrote a petition on leaving.
