Cars of famous musicians

The new Porsche of a blues queen or the Rolls Royce of an iconic Beatle?
What kind of beauty would you choose if you were a famous rock star? A limited-edition Hennessey Venom GT with a removable roof, or maybe a tinted limousine (with a private driver, of course)? As it is not difficult to guess, today's selection is devoted to the coolest "babes" of rocker's car park! From dreams to closer acquaintance - let's go!
Matt Bellamy and his Lamborghini Aventador.
The Lamborghini Aventador is one of the fastest cars in the world (accelerating to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds!). You can not only drive it around the city with a breeze, but also have a spectacular stunt! Apparently, this is what the frontman of the band Muse liked.
Fun fact: while on tour in Europe in 2012, Muse visited the Lamborghini factory in St Agatha. They tested the models in person and were absolutely delighted!
James Hatfield's Buick Skylark.
This is someone who really has his hands in the right place... It turns out that Metallica's leader is also a good car mechanic! He even has his own workshop, where he restores and modifies his fleet of cars from time to time.
And this gorgeous 1953 Buick Skylark is one of his beauties! Together with fellow "car mechanic" Rick Dore, Hatfield modified everything from the headlight bezels and side window lift mechanism to the front bumper design and colouring....
Bruce Springsteen and his Chevrolet Corvette.
True fans will instantly recognise this car as it was featured on several single covers! Yes... Bruce Springsteen was crazy about his Chevrolet Corvette.
Today, this stallion (we're talking about the car, of course) can be seen in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Steven Tyler and the Hennessey Venom GT.
The ultra-fast Hennessey Venom GT was purchased by the musician in 2012. This supercar is based on the Lotus Elise and only 12 copies were built! Its top speed is 440 km/h!
The Aerosmith frontman later sold his modified (Tyler ordered a removable roof) car at auction, donating the proceeds to charity.
Janis Joplin and her legendary Porsche 365 ...
The chic psychedelic drawings are a credit to artist and good friend of the singer Dave Roberts! The new Porsche design is called "The Story of the Universe".
Already after Janice's death, the car went under the hammer for $1,800,000!
John Lennon and his Rolls Royce Phantom V.
After fitting the car with a telephone and fridge, and replacing the back seat with a double bed, John decided to tackle the exterior of his brand new Rolls Royce!
Car repair shops flatly refused to repaint the black Phantom into "something psychedelic", and Lennon gave the car for painting... to gypsies!
After the Beatle's death, his already legendary Rolls Royce was sold for a record 2,300,000 $, making it the most expensive car in history!
