Lolita Milyavskaya: personal life, daughter, career, conflict with Ukraine

Lolita Milyavskaya - one of the brightest divas of the Russian pop music! And one of the most interesting persons on it... On the 14th of November the artist celebrated her 60th anniversaryBut she looks and, more importantly, feels much younger at heart.

"It's just numbers. I'm 60, and my eyes are burning, and some people lose that spark at 30... So it's not about age at all. I, for example, find it hard to imagine myself in the company of my peers - most of them are so boring... What am I supposed to do with them?"

It's a paradox: while our Russian stars went abroad in droves, not forgetting to say a few affectionate words about the country that fed them and that gave them status, Lolita - being the Ukrainian - is entirely on Russia's side.

"A country is like a spouse! It turns out that I've been married to Russia since 1987!"

Lolita was born in 1963 in the city of Mukachevo, Ukraine. And yes: this is her real name, as well as the surname, which the artist got from her second husband. In total, Lolita was married 5 times, and this is only officially. Her longest marriage was with Alexander Tsekalo - the union lasted for 12 years. Lolita was never afraid to leave when she realised that she was tired of the relationship....

"Some people put up with it and live together all their lives! I'm not like that. If the fire has died down, it's time to get out... Don't lie to yourself."

In general, Milyavskaya's personal life can be the foundation for a whole novel! Recently, she was credited with having an affair with a 26-year-old singer Costa Lacosta. The artist herself is in no hurry to deny the rumours:

"Kostya is cool! I find it easy and fun with him, but most importantly, he taught me to accept different circumstances with a smile. I don't feel any age difference at all..."

Lolita tries to be on the same wavelength with young people - or rather, she doesn't try to: it's her trait.

Thus, on the eve of the anniversary, the performer released a modern interpretation of her hit song "On the Titanic." together with Instasamka! As it turned out, the two divas of their generations not only cooperated fruitfully, but also became close:

But there were in Lolita's personal life and almost criminal episodes ...

"It was the worst relationship of my life - abusive! As it turned out, he was a narcissist and he was clearly not at home. He was poisoning me! I spent so much time running around to doctors, taking tests... I was trying to figure out what was making me fat! And then I found out he was putting something in my food. The doctor said that just a little bit more, and it would have been the end! The authorities are looking into it now

"A daughter sent by God."

The artiste's only daughter, Evahas long been the subject of much debate. Firstly, because many people thought she had some serious disabilities. And secondly, because of her mysterious origin. The father of the girl for a long time remained a mystery to the public, and the artist herself only joked that, say, God gave her Eve. Alexander Tsekalo raised the girl as his own, so for a long time everyone thought he was the father. But it turned out to be more complicated....

In the programme "The Wife. A Love Story." Lolita made a sensational discovery: she confessed that Eva's real father tragically died before she was born....

"I say God gave her to me for a reason. She was born on the 40th day after the death of the man I loved..."

In the same programme, Milyavskaya revealed that the man was the head of a major TV channel and, at the same time, criminal mastermind. When he was gone, Lolita was very nervous, she was under a lot of stress. This led to Eva being born three months premature and weighing only 1.2kg! Eva had developmental difficulties and vision problems. But today she is much more confident and healthy: the girl is studying abroad and her mother notes that her daughter has very good vocals!

"I think it's too early for her to go on stage. And it's too early for me to become a grandmother! I'm not ready to devote myself to my grandchildren..."

Oddly enough, today Lolita undesirable person in Ukraine. Or rather - the artiste is simply not allowed in the homeland, because of which she had to send her daughter with her mother abroad, where they can at least see each other.

"Well, it's like this. In 2017, the Security Service of Ukraine simply removed me from the Moscow - Kiev train. I am a person who has been banned from entering my native country for six years! And after that they write to me that I betrayed my homeland! Well, if anything, it was my homeland that betrayed me. I have a mother, a daughter there... And they don't let me see them, is that normal?"

"Travelling" Milyavskaya began after her performance in Kerch in 2015. And then the singer spoke out about Putinand apparently shocked the Ukrainians completely.

"As long as I have been travelling around the country, I have seen my shortcomings and problems in different regions. And I have never been afraid to talk about it. But you know what? Vladimir Putin is doing a lot for Russia. And his look... to be honest, it scares me. It's so sharp... Vladimir Putin's gaze immediately makes me hot..."

Thus, by supporting Russia, Lolita lost respect in her homeland and was put on the sanctions list. But she has no regrets. Except for... her former love for Zelensky?

"I was in love with Vladimir Zelensky as the best producer. But for me, he is proof that artists don't need to get involved in politics... With my heart and soul I am with Russia, I have been married to it since 1987. And Ukraine... nobody has the right to forbid me to remember the best things connected with my Motherland"
