As for the spring concerts, Nelson says:
This revamped spring tour is all about relaxing and having fun. I hope everyone comes ready to dance and fully experience the shared joy of live music again!
Known for her incendiary live shows, the band spent much of last year on the road, playing sold-out shows across the country. About their extensive autumn tour, PopMatters stated that Nelson is conducting a rock sermon of sorts... Promise of the Real continue to impress, while the San Francisco Chronicle proclaimed:
Nelson is a born performer with poise and maturity for his 32 years, whose stage theatricality brought the crowd to its feet and kept it there.
Glide also commented on Nelson's work:
Nelson's talent as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist seems limitless.
Fans will be able to enjoy all songs the band, including their widely acclaimed latest album, A Few Stars Apart, which was released last summer on the Fantasy Records label and spent seven weeks at number one on the Americana Albums chart. What Rolling Stone publisher Rolling Stone envied about the record:
This is his best album to date... Nelson's most compact, streamlined and focused album yet.
And The Tennessean states:
It's a collection of lyrically stirring, musically diverse and ultimately hopeful narratives about the roots of rock.
Produced by the award-winning awards "Grammy" producer Dave Cobb's "Few Stars Apart" music video is a testament to finding the human connection between close family and friends, as well as our own hearts. The album was recorded by the entire band live to eight-track cassette tape over the course of three weeks, at the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville.
