Today we continue to remember the names of people who have long been dubbed one of the of the best guitarists in Russia. Of course, everyone will have their own personal top of domestic guitar gurus, but in order to make our list as close to the readers' opinion as possible, we relied directly on it! Well, and on the opinion of some music lovers from forums, so the selection promises to be interesting.

Vadim Golutvin
The public knows Golutvin very well. This man has played in so many bands in his career that one can easily lose count! VIA "Dobry Molodtsy", VIA "Vesyolye Respubliki", "Araks". - This is only a part of the projects to the legacy of which Vadim Yurievich has made his undeniable contribution.
In addition to his mastery of the guitar, Golutvin was also a producer, composer, arranger and songwriter. Music lovers dubbed him one of the best guitarists in the country, while the Andrei Makarevich called Vadim "one of the best instrumentalists in Soviet rock".
Valery Didyulya

Even in a composition without words Didyulia is able to touch the hearts of the audience. He is a virtuoso, and a most favourite guitarist, whose concerts in our country are attended with great pleasure. His character is, of course, God willing! But that's another story.

Smirnov is loved and a pleasure to listen to. He is an electroacoustic guitarist who performed music in the genre of ethno-fusion. Unfortunately, in November 2018, the musician passed away: his departure was sudden and unexpected for everyone... He was 63 years old.

Konstantin Nikolsky

Dmitry Selivanov
Alas, the career of this hopeful guitarist, like his life, proved to be too short.... Dmitry Selivanov passed away of his own accord in 1989 at the age of 25.
Despite the fact that he was too young, Selivanov became one of the rock legends of Novosibirsk. He was a flamboyant improviser, a member of the famous band "Kalinov Most". Dimitri also had time to play in "Civil Defence." with Egor Letov, and set up his own project called Industrial Architecture. Perhaps a great future awaited him.....
Dmitry Varshavsky
No exaggeration: Dmitry Lvovich - the idol of millions. Besides being a good guitarist, he is also a talented songwriter and performer!
