Viktor Tsoi and Marianna Rodovanskaya
Marianna and Victor met on the girl's 23rd birthday: curiously enough, on the same day their mutual acquaintance was celebrating his name day! The most interesting thing is that Marianna did not like Tsoi at first: a poor, modest musician, about whom nobody knew much at the time... And he was three years younger! When he asked Marianna for her phone number, she wrote it on the musician's face with lipstick! So, in early 1984, the couple got married. True - not the one Marianna dreamed of... Instead of a beautiful dress, the girl wore a jacket and a light-coloured skirt... Later she remembered:
"We lived very poorly. "We ate whatever we could get our hands on. In short, we were as poor as church rats..."
Well, the whole "bomond" of the Leningrad underground came to the couple's wedding! And six months later, a joyful event happened - their son Alexander was born!
Joanna Stingray and Yuri Kasparian
The wedding of Kino guitarist Yuri Kasparian and American singer Joanna Stingray took place on 2 November 1987! According to Joanna's memories:
"The wedding was simply marvellous! The official part took place in the Leningrad Palace of Marriages. I remember feeling uncomfortable because I didn't speak Russian... I couldn't understand anything that the woman at the Palace was saying! I was told: "When you are addressed, answer 'Yes!'" And I was very afraid that I would say "Yes!" at the wrong moment!"
But Joanna was worried for nothing and everything went well! After the official part everyone went to the Peter and Paul Fortress, where they had a festive party!
"The atmosphere was fabulous!" - Joanna recalled.
To be completely frank, it was music, the love of it, that brought Joanna and Yuri together... Stingray was fond of Russian rock. It was she who popularised the work of Kino outside the Soviet Union. Unfortunately, their marriage broke up after 4 years of living together....
Peter and Olga Mamonovs
The main woman in the life of Pyotr Mamonov, leader of the cult rock band Sounds of Moo, was Olga, whom they met in a restaurant in Hermitage. At that time Olga was working as a dancer: she was a very attractive young girl... And Peter simply could not help but pay attention to her... As Olga herself said, she made a great impression on Mamonov, saying that she knew nothing about him or his art....
They started dating and realised that it was love... The couple married in 1982. The rock musician later said:
"...I don't really remember the exact circumstances under which we met. And that's not important. What is important is that we learnt to respect and appreciate each other. Olya and I always try to understand each other... And in proportion to our efforts, the Lord gives us a peaceful, harmonious life..."
Vyacheslav and Marina Butusovs
According to Marina Butusova's recollections, Vyacheslav noticed her in the collective farm, where they were sent for potatoes right after entering the institute. The girl, in her turn, noticed her suitor's unusually beautiful brown eyes... Vyacheslav decided to approach and talk to his future wife only at the initiation into students:
"We were 16 years old... We entered the Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute together, only in different faculties. And so, when we were given our credits, Slava offered to walk me to Uralmash. And this despite the fact that he himself lived on the other side of the city!"
Vyacheslav was by Marina's side both in trouble and in joy: that same autumn her father died - some hooligans hit him on the head in the street, the man died in hospital less than a month later... But soon the couple was overtaken by a new, this time joyful event! Marina became pregnant with their first daughter Anna... The woman later recalled:
"Both happiness and misfortune Slava and I managed to live through in just four months: in September we met, in October we started to live together, and on 10 January we got married..."
Vladimir and Elena Shakhrin
Vladimir and Elena Shakhrin met in 1976, while studying at a technical school (they were in parallel groups). Later they decided to get married after Vladimir returned from the army. And so they did!
Konstantin Kinchev and Alexandra Panfilova
The leader of the band "Alisa" was married twice in his entire life. Probably, the first marriage with Anna Golubeva is not worth mentioning, because everyone knows about it: for the sake of his wife Kinchev moved from the capital to St. Petersburg. The girl gave birth to the rocker's only son Evgeny. Later, when he grew up, he took over all the issues related to the paraphernalia in the band "Alice". However, their union with Anna broke up....
Soon after the birth of his son, Kinchev fell in love with Alexandra Panfilova, the daughter of honoured artist Alexei Loktev. Their acquaintance happened quite romantically, in the wine department of a grocery shop... Soon Konstantin divorced his first wife and to this day has never regretted it! With Alexandra they brought up two children: daughter Vera and Alexandra's daughter from her first marriage, Maria....
Mike Naumenko and Natasha Korableva.
Mike and Natalya met thanks to the girl's cousin! It happened on Vasilyevsky Island, where Natasha was staying with her grandmother. Later, they met again, this time at the wedding of Natalya's brother! According to Korableva's own memories, Mike was always very sensitive and romantic... Thus, one summer evening, while contemplating the houses of Kupchinsk from Isha Petrovsky's balcony, Mike said:
"I want to move into a castle with you... But I can only offer a flat with my parents and a modest salary..."
