Varvara Teryokhina's performance on The Voice Kids show
Содержание
The ninth season of the show The Voice Kids started on 18 February. Traditionally, the new season started with blind auditions. At this stage, all candidates undergo a rigorous selection.
This is where the young vocalists have to perform a song and do everything possible, to hook the mentors. Mentors, in turn, listen to the candidates' speeches while sitting towards them backand only turn to those they're willing to take on.
But the hardest part, for candidates and mentors alike, is that the teams are strictly are limited: to bring in all the vocalists you like. it won't work.
Sometimes even talented vocalists go away from the show without ever getting a turn in the mentor's chair. It's hard for all of them, Not only for the kids who weren't taken, but for the mentors themselves.
Performance by Varvara Teryokhina
That's the situation occurred with young Varvara, who came to the show Golos Deti with Alla Pugacheva's song "Daddy Bought a Car". The song is quite famous, and the girl's performance can be called, if not perfect, then definitely. talented: she sang well and was great on stage.
After Varvara had finished singing, the whole audience. applauded to the girl. Everyone was shouting "Bravo!" Even the mentors themselves clapped her! But the button was never pressed for some reason.
Of course, she's very upsetting, but what the mentors did after the performance deserves respect. Polina Gagarina almost immediately got up from her chair and ran to Varvara to calm her down and tell her how talented she was and that she would do well in the future. Seeing this, Basta said:
"At these moments I am grateful to God that among us there is Polina Gagarina, because with Yegor we, alas, we are unable to say kind words of comfort to children"
Then Basta, though. talked with Varvara:
"The life of a musician is sometimes made up of moments like this, not very pleasant ones. Would you like me to tell you a few moments that happened in my life? Sometimes I came to a concert and there were hardly any people in the hall. Everybody has had it, but you have the most important thing: the mood and the spirit of a fighter. You're gonna make it in your life, you're doing great. Listen to me, an old grandfather. I'm already 41 years old, and you're doing great - there's still so much time left!"
After that, to keep the girl from getting upset, Egor Creed suggested to take a picture. And then Basta conducted the girl back to her parents.
It seemed like such an unpleasant situation, but how professionally the mentors solved it! They and themselves understand how frustrating it is to have setbacks in a creative career. But everyone has them - you just have to get over it.
