We keep remembering Vladimir Kuzmin's main hits - is part two of our top 10! Speaking of Kuzmin - as a musician he amazes with the melody of his works, as well as with the virtuoso execution of his vocal parts. It is a pleasure to listen to this man, even if sometimes his songs are unpretentious and simple in terms of lyrical content.
So: in the previous part of our selection we had time to remember such wonderful compositions as "Soul.", "Two Stars." - A wonderful collab with Alla Pugacheva, and some other hits. And here is our selection for today... Enjoy listening!
Seven Seas
We decided to start with a rather rhythmic and romantic song called "Seven Seas. This composition has a very beautiful melody, but Kuzmin's vocal parts should not be underestimated: they perfectly complement the music, and together this harmony creates a real hit...
As for the lyrical stuffing, the song says Of love and hopeThe feelings that are so necessary for every person:
"Life flies and waits for no one.

You are so innocent.
This composition is full of bright and beautiful images... The text is very beautiful: it draws in the listener's mind interesting characters, the main characters of the composition. Apparently, the woman to whom such lines are addressed as "you are so beautiful and so powerless, a little deceitful, a little flattering." - charming and charismatic person. You can tell from the lyrics that she could have had a great and bright future. But...
...But she fell in love and dedicated her life to a man (the main character) who calls himself "the passerby.". He admits that he is not a prince, but also ends his narrative with the following lines:
"With me you were so unhappy,
But so loved and so beautiful..."
Sills
One of Kuzmin's most famous and favorite songs, which almost everyone can sing without a problem!
"Thresholds, thresholds, steep thresholds.
There is no smooth road by the stormy river
And the exuberant heart, forgetting its worries
Cutting through the wave, runs from longing..."
This composition is often included in various selections when it comes to Vladimir's best masterpieces. As the years have passed, it has lost none of its relevance among listeners...
Ball
The same can safely be said about "Ball."! One of Kuzmin's masterpieces, which has won warm acclaim from the general public. Memorable melody, beautiful performance and interesting lyrical stuffing. This song has everything that the melomaniac's heart demands...
In spite of the unpretentious title, the lyrics of this song are saturated with lyricism and depth:
"I am not content to argue with fate,
There are more difficult tasks at the moment.
I should be able to cope with myself,
And then I'll think about her..."
Kuzmin's calling card is. The soulfulness of his songs. He himself once said the following about this phenomenon of his:
"Well, it's really simple: I write all my songs from my heart. Of course, sometimes I try to adjust to the tastes of the audience. But that's very rare. I don't think it should be abused. Because the time will pass and they'll turn into nothing. But soulful songs, sincere ones, will be liked by people for years to come... These songs are not subject to trends!
Simone
One of Kuzmin's biggest hits! This song has long been a favorite among the fans, and the business card of the performer himself. The history of its appearance is quite interesting: in Riga Vladimir met a girl who introduced herself as Simone. That's how the musician got his inspiration...
"Then I thought, 'Wow, what a beautiful name...'"
In his interview, Kuzmin recalled how during the recording session the studio was visited by Alla Pugacheva. Hearing "Simone," the diva said:
"Well, it's a real hit, isn't it?"
In fact, it was: soon after "Simone" was released, it became insanely popular: at one time it was heard almost from every newspaper!
Hood
Another awesome hit on our list! Many listeners love this song, as well as her performer himself.
In his interview, Vladimir said:
"This is one of those songs that came from the heart. There's nothing contrived here. It's just a sincere and soulful song. In fact, so many years have passed and I still like it madly! And it's very nice when people ask me to sing it at concerts - it means that I'm not the only one who likes it!"
Kikimora
Great track with a rather unusual title. Only it already draws attention to the song. Very beautiful, mysterious lyrics, and a melody that will stay in your head for a long time - no wonder that many music lovers like this song so much!
"Once lured into the net,

Everyone is unlucky, just like me..."
